GH Spoilers: Ava Wounds Nikolas in Heated Showdown – But Does She Have the Wrong Guy?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) has decided that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) must be the person tormenting her, but is she right? It’s easy to see why Ava would jump to that conclusion after receiving all those eerie notes, photos and the gun in her drawer.

Ava assumes that Nikolas is messing with her since she nearly cost him his life.

However, Ava did what she had to do to protect Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) – and she’d do it again if she had to!

This storyline could be building to a long-awaited showdown between Ava and Nikolas.

At some point, Nikolas may show up and leave Ava terrified of what he’ll do next.

Ava could easily point her weapon at Nikolas and make it clear that she’s not afraid to use it.

This could even turn into a situation where Ava fires first and asks questions later.

Unfortunately, that could be a mistake if Nikolas isn’t really the one targeting Ava.

If someone else is behind all the torment, then Ava could seriously wound Nikolas without a good reason.

What if Nikolas shows up and just wants to talk? Nikolas might face Ava’s gun and get rushed to the hospital before he has a chance!

Of course, that could end up being a storyline similar to the one that just played out with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Ava may end up with regrets after acting impulsively and getting it wrong.

It could also stir up all kinds of drama with Nikolas’ loved ones since Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wouldn’t be too happy about Ava putting Nik’s life on the line.

Bottom line, the fact that Ava suspects Nikolas perhaps makes it less likely that he’s actually the one messing with her. GH writers might want the real culprit to be more of a surprise.

Sadly, the biggest surprise could be the one Ava faces if she wounds Nikolas and fears she’s taken him out for good this time!
