GH Spoilers: Drew’s Early Homecoming – Just In Time for Carly’s Devastating Bobbie Loss

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will get a pleasant surprise, but it’ll serve as the calm before the storm. On December 29, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will come home earlier than he planned.

Of course, that’ll give Drew a chance to ring in the new year with the woman he loves.

Drew may admit he couldn’t let 2023 conclude without showing up for the midnight countdown with Carly.

Carly will be thrilled to see Drew and will gladly give him a kiss to celebrate, but he may have some concerns about all the recent drama with John Brennan (Charles Mesure).

Although Carly’s final faceoff with Brennan brought some scary moments, she handled him like a pro and took care of business.

Carly also had some backup from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamproga), so she’ll assure Drew that it all worked out fine in the end.

Now Carly will just want to focus on the fact that Drew’s back home where he belongs.

There’ll be some sweet moments for the happy couple, but bad news is brewing.

GH spoilers say Carly will get updates on the demise of Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) during the week of January 1-5, so she’ll go through an emotional rollercoaster once she finds out what happened.

There’s no word yet on how exactly Bobbie will pass away, but it’ll come as a shock to Carly and leave her needing someone to lean on. It’s great that Drew will be back to support Carly through the family crisis ahead.

Bobbie’s memorial service will play out over the course of two episodes, so fans will want to tune in on January 10 and 11.

That’s when the show will give Bobbie a special sendoff and honor Jacklyn Zeman’s memory as well.
