GH Spoilers: Cyrus’ Long-Lost Child Finally Revealed – Gets Family He’s Always Wanted?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s always been a common theme with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who desperately wants the love of a family. There’s something deep inside Cyrus that craves that family connection.

Of course, there have been times over the years when GH fans wondered if the show might give Cyrus a long-lost child.

That hasn’t happened yet, but it still might!

Cyrus has experienced a sudden surge of airtime lately due to the scenes he’s been sharing with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at Pentonville.

When Cyrus had a heart attack, he also got a glimpse of a hellish afterlife where he was stuck in a prison of his own making.

Cyrus opened up to a vision of Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as the show continued to highlight how much he wanted a family bond.

Nevertheless, Laura and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) aren’t interested in a real sibling relationship with Cyrus, so they’re never going to satisfy his deepest longing.

Naturally, we’ve also seen Cyrus try to connect with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) back when he was behind bars.

Even Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) had an interaction with Cyrus not too long ago since he was interested in his family connection to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

Unfortunately, none of Cyrus’ relationships are giving him the family he wants. It might take a long-lost child revelation for Cyrus to have a genuine chance at building a true fam!

Is there someone on canvas who might have a father-son or father-daughter link to Cyrus?

Some viewers have always rooted for Cyrus to be revealed as Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) bio dad.

It’d make Cyrus’ previous interest in Sasha rather twisted, but it’s still within the realm of possibility that they could be related.

However, Sasha honestly has enough problems without having a dangerous Pentonville inmate for a father.

It’d certainly be better for Sasha if Cyrus’ potential long-lost child is someone else.

One option that immediately comes to mind is Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) since no one can know for sure who his biological parents were.

It leaves the door open for Cyrus and Dex to somehow find out they’re related – especially now that both Dex and Cyrus have seemingly gotten tangled up in Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) storyline.

It’s easy to imagine Dex landing in prison down the road considering his line of work.

That sometimes just comes with the territory of dealing with mob-related activities.

If that happens, it could give Cyrus and Dex a reason to bond in lockup. A father-son connection is certainly a possibility to mull over if GH writers want to go there.

Even if Cyrus has some other long-lost child that he isn’t aware of, it might be time to fill the void in this messy villain’s heart.
