General Hospital Spoilers: Is Adam Secretly Ace’s Father – Esme’s Real Baby Daddy Revealed?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show could be gearing up for a paternity change since Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) never had a DNA test to serve as official proof. Without evidence, there’s just no way to know for sure that Ace is actually Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) son.

The show still has plenty of wiggle room if they want to do a paternity rewrite, which is probably why they didn’t bother with a DNA test in the first place.

Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) indeed slept with Nikolas, but she might’ve slept with someone else around the same time and ultimately passed her baby off as a Cassadine.

Of course, Esme doesn’t remember her past, so that works out well for a possible storyline involving a paternity change.

There could be a situation where Esme ends up just as shocked as everyone else if her baby doesn’t belong to Nikolas.

Now that Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) has been given a bigger arc on the show, we can’t help but think about the potential drama of him being revealed as Ace’s true father.

Adam is already facing a ton of pressure from his demanding mom and dad, so he doesn’t need something else to stress him out.

Between tough exams and his parents breathing down his neck, Adam is just about at his breaking point. Finding out that he’s Ace’s bio dad might send Adam completely over the edge!

Naturally, the show would have to find some path to revealing that shocker. Maybe the truth could come out through some medical condition for Ace or if Nikolas pushes for full custody upon his return.

Nikolas might get a DNA test to support his custody fight – only to find out that Ace isn’t his biological child at all.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) would be devastated over a twist like that, but that’s exactly why GH writers should do it.

The door is wide open for the show to change Ace’s paternity and turn everything upside down.
