GH Spoilers: Trina’s Revenge Story – Tabyana Ali Wants Sinister Makeover with Spencer Gone

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may be gone, but that doesn’t mean the action has to stop for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). There are plenty of stories that can be told in Spencer’s absence, so many fans are eager to see Trina at the center of some new drama.

In an interview with SOD, Tabyana Ali addressed Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s recent social media statement, which indicated that he had “no current plans” to return as Spencer.

Ali talked about how much she enjoyed building the “Sprina” pairing with Chavez and wished him the best in his career.

Although Ali hopes to work with Chavez at some point in the future, she’s got some good ideas on what should be next for Trina.

It turns out Ali would like to see Trina develop more of an edge and become a “badass.”

Ali opened up about wanting to see a different side of Trina come out, which seems reasonable considering everything Trina’s been through.

“I would like her to have a vendetta story or a revenge story. Or the love of her life is gone and now she just turned evil a little bit,” Ali suggested.

However, Ali ultimately confessed she wasn’t sure how that would work since Trina was such a good person deep down.

There’s no denying that it’d be a major character transformation if Trina wound up taking a sinister turn.

That said, we could totally buy the idea of Trina snapping and heading down a more wicked road.

After everything Trina went through with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), she might fight back in a completely different way if someone else tried to mess with her.

Then again, Esme’s body was never recovered, so there’s no proof that she’s truly deceased.

With that in mind, the door has been left open for Esme to potentially make a comeback somewhere down the line.

If Esme returns to Port Charles and goes after Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), then Trina might take matters into her own hands to stop her.

That’s especially true now that Trina has volunteered to babysit Ace more often and seems poised to grow closer to him.

Bottom line, there are ways for GH writers to make Tabyana Ali’s dream revenge story a reality, so let’s hope Trina will get a chance at payback eventually.
