General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is convinced that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is a threat to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). When Anna inadvertently fired at Charlotte in the apartment that night, Charlotte decided Anna was a threat to her personally as well.
Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) influence started this mess, but it’ll be hard to break Charlotte free from his brainwashing.
Therapy sessions may not be nearly enough to change Charlotte’s mind about Anna and how dangerous she is.
In fact, GH spoilers say Anna herself is perhaps the only one who can prove Victor wrong.
Could this be building to a situation where Anna saves Valentin’s life instead of taking it like Charlotte fears?
Perhaps more danger is on the horizon that’ll put Valentin in jeopardy.
If Anna is the one to rescue Valentin from danger, that could be the proof that Charlotte needs to see that Anna genuinely wants to keep him safe.
Of course, things could get tricky if Anna has another enemy who actually burned her house down and that enemy is the reason for Valentin’s new trouble.
That could make it a bit harder for Charlotte to accept Anna’s good deed.
However, Anna could still prove she wants to keep Valentin alive instead of harming him. That has to count for something, so maybe this life-saving news would still matter to Charlotte in that case.
There’s also a chance Valentin could land in a different kind of peril – like a freak accident or even a dilemma involving a foe that affects him, too.
If Victor faked his demise and returns at some point, he could show Charlotte that he’s been the threat all along.
It’d be great if Anna could intervene and stop Victor while saving Valentin from a grim fate.
No matter how this plays out, Charlotte may need to see some evidence if she’s ever going to view Anna as anything other than a problem and a source of terror.
Will Anna find a way to prove herself to Charlotte somewhere down the line?
Will Anna rescue Valentin and show Charlotte that her heart’s in the right place when it comes to her papa?
