GH Spoilers: Ryan Chamberlain’s Twisted Comeback – Jon Lindstrom Shares How Return Possible

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may be gone, but he certainly hasn’t been forgotten. Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) recent conversation at Pentonville included a Ryan mention, so the show’s always finding ways to keep his memory alive.

Of course, plenty of GH fans would love to see Ryan make a comeback at some point.

It’s true that Ryan’s demise felt pretty final after Mac Scorpio (John J. York) pulled the trigger on him in 2023, but you can never count a villain like him out!

After all, Ryan has cheated his own demise before. Although Ryan was presumed deceased in an explosion decades ago, he eventually showed up in Port Charles for another reign of terror.

GH writers seemed determined to make Ryan’s grisly outcome look like the real deal this time around, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road.

There’s always a chance for a miraculous return since anything goes on soaps.

In an interview with Soaps.com, Jon Lindstrom acknowledged that the show went the body bag route this time around.

Several people got up close and personal with Ryan’s corpse, so that does make it a little more challenging to write a comeback storyline.

However, Lindstrom also acknowledged how creative soap writers were and made it clear that Ryan could still return somehow.

Although Lindstrom didn’t have any exact suggestions on how to pull it off, he felt confident that the writers could figure something out if they wanted Ryan to rise from the grave.

In other words, Ryan’s comeback is possible if the writers say it’s possible! It’s just a matter of them writing the right wild explanation – and that probably wouldn’t be too hard since Ryan was such a master of deception.

If Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) twisted twin somehow faked that fatality, Lindstrom insisted he’d absolutely be down for playing Ryan again.

It’s an amazing role that Lindstrom thrives in, so we would love the opportunity to see him step into Ryan’s shoes at least one more time.
