GH Spoilers: Donna Overhears Nina’s Secret – Learns Stepmom Sent Drew to Prison & Made Carly Pay?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) may find herself in yet another terrible position soon. It was bad enough when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) started blackmailing Nina over her secret SEC snitching, but then Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) started blackmailing her, too.

Now Nina’s facing a mountain of impossible demands and wondering how much more of this she can take.

The walls are closing in on Nina, but she may soon have a reason to make a confession and end this nightmare for good.

Here’s what we know so far. GH spoilers confirm that somebody new will become part of this storyline when Nina’s secret accidentally falls into the wrong hands.

Someone besides Michael, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will become privy to what Nina did.

Once this person is in the loop, there are hints about it leading to Nina’s exposure – maybe even before the holiday festivities wind down.

With the recent uptick in Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) airtime, perhaps we should consider the possibility that she’ll find out her stepmom’s a tattletale!

Will Donna overhear Michael threatening Nina and wonder why he’s being so mean to her?

If Donna keeps listening, she might also realize Nina’s to blame for sending Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) dad to prison.

If Donna eavesdrops, she might find out that Nina’s partly the reason why Carly had to pay so much money and got Drew sent to the slammer.

Of course, Donna probably won’t know what the SEC is, but she doesn’t need to understand the details here.

All Donna needs to know is that Nina could’ve been responsible for sending her mom away if things had gone differently for Carly.

Donna might realize that Nina ratted Drew and Carly out over a mistake.

It’s easy to imagine Donna acting like it’s wrong to be a tattletale. Donna might question Nina about why she did what she did and leave her stepmom in a tight spot.

In the December 14 episode, Sonny helped Donna celebrate a great report card, so Donna acknowledged that she’d been talking less in class.

Sonny also made it clear that Donna had been a good girl this year.

Maybe there are some hints in all that – like the concept of Donna not talking and being a good girl. It’s possible Nina or Michael could pressure Donna to keep quiet.

However, we’d like to think sweet little Donna’s involvement would be a step too far for Nina.

It could lead to Nina deciding enough is enough and just spilling the whole story to Sonny herself!
