GH Spoilers: Nina Saves Marriage with Sonny Rescue – Exposes Valentin & Ava’s Twisted Schemes?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is currently stuck in marriage limbo since she hasn’t signed the divorce papers yet. Although Nina doesn’t want to give up hope, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) clearly thinks it’s time to throw in the towel.

In fact, Maxie went as far as saying she never liked Nina as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wife.

As far as Maxie’s concerned, being Mrs. Corinthos took over Nina’s whole life and personality.

That may be true on some level, but there’s no denying that Nina still loves Sonny.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is still hopeful about Sonny and Nina’s reunion, so maybe a reunion is indeed possible.

After all, it was Nina who helped Sonny see that he needed help the last time he went off his meds – and she convinced him to cut back on drinking, too.

Nina was good for Sonny and may be the ideal person to save him now.

As Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) plot to mess with Sonny’s meds affects his mental state more and more, Nina is bound to notice.

Sonny will inevitably make some very public displays that point to him being unhinged.

It could lead to Nina doing whatever she can to figure out what’s going on and hopefully come to Sonny’s rescue.

Out of everyone on canvas, Nina may be the most likely to realize something is seriously wrong.

Of course, we have to point out that Valentin and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are the two biggest culprits working against Sonny in this GH storyline.

Ava and Valentin also happen to be two of Nina’s closest friends, so that’s an important factor here.

It makes sense to plop Nina in the middle of all this since she has Sonny for an estranged husband, Ava for a bestie and Valentin for an amicable ex.

Nina is intertwined with all parties involved and could play detective to discover what’s really happening.

If Nina exposes Valentin and Ava’s twisted schemes, it could be exactly what she needs to save her marriage.

Sonny may be grateful and see that maybe Nina is who he can trust most after all.
