Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown is clearing up the rumor surrounding him taking a fifth wife. Of course, fans have been curious about this since he lost three out of four of his wives. Sister Wives Kody Brown Clears Up 5th Sister Wife Rumors
Kody Brown was shocked when his third wife, Christine Brown left the family. Despite the fact that he was keeping his distance, was disengaged, and did not want intimacy, it baffled him. Christine knew that she wanted true love and romance so she set her sights on getting out. Since then, his first and second wives, Meri and Janelle have left him, as well. Of course, his fourth wife, Robyn Brown feels that her family is shattered. Furthermore, she never wanted to live with one man and in monogamy yet she became the favorite. Now, she has Kody all of the time.
Fans wondered if Kody Brown would take on another wife to keep building Robyn’s dream or to live the plural lifestyle he had become accustomed to. In a clip from when Sister Wives first started, Kody and Meri are out together when Meri says a woman is “cute.” Kody notes that this is the same thing that she said when she first noticed Robyn. He had a little bit of Deja Vu. The other wives are at home doing their confessional and Christine says that Meri is out of her mind.
She admits that she is happy that Robyn is there with them, and has to say that because she is sitting right next to her. However, the thought of a fifth wife is just unfathomable. The wives joke that whenever Meri sees someone that she wants to get to know, her mind goes to “sister wife.” As for Kody, he is adamant that he is done with the four that he has and is not bringing anyone else in.
Not Enough Time
Kody Brown has been called out for not spending enough time with each wife. He was supposed to divide his time evenly and he never really did. This was even more prevalent once Robyn came into the picture in 2010. So, having a fifth wife would have been a terrible idea. Kody has since alluded to the idea that he has tried polygamy and knows he is essentially done with it. Yet, what if Robyn says she will leave him if he does not try again? Could that be a dealbreaker?
