Emme Rylan, the actress is a big hit with General Hospital fans, and all for good reasons. While she might have been away for sometime now, she often finds her social media buzzing with a common question: When is she coming back to General Hospital as Lulu? But here’s where things get interesting—She is telling us her whereabouts now and also weighing in on what is her work situation
In a recent post on her Instagram Story, Emme Rylan opened up about this frequently asked question. She said, “It seems like every time I share something, I get loads of messages asking if we’ve moved to St. Louis.” She went on to explain, “Well, for most of this school year, we’ve set up our home base in St. Louis. It’s been an exciting time for us, traveling around and reconnecting with family we hadn’t seen since before the days of COVID. We’re taking a bit of a breather from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.”
Emme Rylan’s daytime TV career took off when she portrayed Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light from 2006 to 2009. This role marked the start of her successful journey in the world of daytime television. Following this, she joined the cast of The Young & the Restless in 2010, taking on the character of Abby Newman. After her departure from the CBS soap opera in 2013, she found herself at General Hospital. And here she took on the iconic role of Lulu Spencer. Since her last appearance on the show in December 2020, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Lulu.
After leaving General Hospital, Emme Rylan, along with her partner Don Money and their kids Levi, Jackson, and Dakota, embarked on a road trip, exploring various destinations. They moved around a bit before finally settling in St. Louis, where they’ve been having a fantastic time. But here’s the important part: Emme wants to make it crystal clear to her fans that their new home doesn’t have any impact on their work.
She emphasized, “All of our work happens from the comfort of our home. Both Don and I can do everything we need to do right here. In case you’re wondering, the strike affecting actors is still ongoing. So yes, we’re living in St. Louis now, and yes, our kids are attending school here. It’s been a positive change for our family. It doesn’t alter anything in terms of our work or our ability to work. We’re just continuing our adventures and travels.” While this isn’t a clear answer, it does gives a little hope that she might comeback some da
