General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will lay a trap-he and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) are working on a sting. Will the trap flush out the big boss behind Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Gray) family and get Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) out of trouble?
General Hospital Spoilers – He Lives Until We Get That Body Bag
Sonny and Brick are working on the assumption that Mason is an underling working for a big boss, the head of a mob-like family. Sonny has been having Brick look for information about Gordon Stevens, (Maurice Benard) whose body Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) found in the alley behind GH to see where it leads.
It’s bound to lead to Mason, who Ava’s already told Sonny about and who’s basically blackmailing not only Ava, but Austin also, and possibly to a not-so-dead Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Sonny told Brick someone lives until they get that body bag-that sounds like they’re using the underling, Mason, to trap the head of “the family”. Sonny was particularly interested in learning why Mason would want Ava to find information on Pikeman Security Group for him from Sonny-what could that connection be?
GH Spoilers = Every Trap Needs Bait
Every trap needs bait, and what better bait then to use an underling to lead you to the head honcho? According to what Ava said it seems that Mason has a tight connection with the head of the “family” which appears to be a woman.
Sonny has wondered if it was Selina Wu (Lydia Look) all along, not entirely trusting her although working with her, but that would be too easy.
They couldn’t trace or identify the sniper who took potshots at the warehouse either, when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) took a bullet for Sonny. But right now Sonny’s more interested in chopping the head off the snake that’s running whatever mob or cult that’s apparently got Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) body.
General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin’s Set Up For A Fake Meeting
Mason’s set up for a fake meeting with Sonny who’ll claim to be ever so happy to put him in touch with the Pikeman Security Group.
He has one of his henchmen who Mason wouldn’t know from Adam pose as a middleman who explains that Pikeman himself would only meet with Mason’s boss-they go by levels. Sonny realizes it takes a con to outcon a con, so he makes it look real good and in the meantime, as Frank (Frank Lyon) frisks Mason, his cell phone’s taken.
In another room, Frank takes Mason’s phone and Brick quickly clones it and swaps it with one exactly like it-but with a tracker.
It also has a bug that records everything Mason does and says and sends it back to Brick-good thing Austin knew the details of his cousin’s phone!
