General Hospital Spoilers: Week of April 29 – Sonny’s Rage Grows – Nina’s Revenge Opportunity – Ava’s Risky Situation
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 29-May 3 reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will throw more temper tantrums and continue to believe the world is out to get him.
To be fair, an awful lot of people are taking a stand against Sonny these days – including Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
After Laura makes it clear that Sonny won’t be getting any forgiveness from her, Sonny will once again feel betrayed.
It’s not fair for Laura to ignore Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) long list of crimes and act like Sonny is now the scum of the earth!
As for Anna, she’ll plan to move forward with prosecuting Sonny eventually, but how long will she wait?
Behind-the-scenes GH info confirms Sonny will indeed be at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding later during May sweeps, so Anna may not be ready to arrest Sonny just yet.
There’s still more prep work to be done ahead of Chase and Brook Lynn’s nuptials, so they’ll focus on that in the coming episodes.
As Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) condition keeps declining, he’ll feud with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and perhaps cling to his officiant role at the ceremony as long as he can.
It’s tough to make a prediction on whether Gregory will actually be able to officiate the wedding, but Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will arrange an alternate officiant and hope to make sure the big day goes smoothly no matter what.
Next, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will have a proposal to mull over, so that should involve a new career path.
It’ll leave Sasha with an important decision to make about her future, so we’ll see if she turns to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) or someone else for advice.
Back with Sonny, he’ll keep spiraling out of control due to his weakened meds.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) may think keeping quiet about that is helping her manipulate Sonny, but she could be putting herself in a risky situation.
The more unhinged Sonny becomes, the more dangerous things could get for Ava.
That’s especially true if someone like Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) eventually finds out about the prescription tampering and accuses Ava of being responsible!
Then again, maybe it’ll be Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who points the finger at Ava down the road.
Nina signed the divorce papers and handed Sonny over to Ava, but she can’t just turn her feelings for Sonny off like a switch.
As a result, Nina will grow increasingly concerned about Sonny and will take steps to protect him from Ava’s twisted web. That may lead to Nina’s revenge opportunity when the time is right!
