GH Spoilers: Valentin & Nina Reunion On The Horizon – Go To Extremes To Cover For Charlotte?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at some shocking plot twists in the land of Port Charles. The show recently revealed that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was the one who recently ransacked Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) hotel room.

Viewers saw the looks of horror on the faces of both Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when they caught the teen in the act, via some Metro Court video footage.

Both were completely caught off guard by what they saw, and fans could see that Valentin was very unsure of how to proceed with things.

One main aspect he made crystal clear to Nina was that she kept this information to herself, which, so far, she has done.

While Charlotte is a “good” kid, the 15-year-old has suffered a ton of trauma over the years, and this isn’t the first time she’s had behavioral issues. As a young child, she bullied her now “friend” Jake Spencer (Hudson West), while Nina and Valentin were a couple, and both were fiercely protective of Charlotte during the whole ordeal.

There was also that time Charlotte placed a snake in Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) purse, mimicking her father’s deceptive actions, and this prompted Valentin on a road to redemption.

Anna asked Valentin about his investigation into the Metro Court video, and he lied saying the footage was missing. Nina also lied to both Olivia Quatermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) when they questioned her about being in Olivia’s office.

There’s a very good chance that both Nina and Valentin make a vow to handle Charlotte on their own. After all, if the truth came out, the ramifications could be major for the teen.

Nina has always been very close to Charlotte, and the young girl thinks the world of her former “stepmom”. With her biological mother Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) still in a coma, the teen has suffered a massive emotional rollercoaster ride of instability in her life.

Children, even teens, need routine, and Charlotte’s life has been “all over the place”, with her dad’s constant out-of-town adventures, his relationship with Anna, and his dealings with Pikeman. She loves staying with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but it’s clear she wants to be with her “Papa”.

Valentin and Nina could come together and concoct a plan of action when it comes to Charlotte; something only he and Nina are “in the know” about.

This would mean one more lie both he and Nina have against their respective “partners” in Anna and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

But in their attempt to “protect” the young girl, could this stir up old feelings? Is a Valentin and Nina romantic reunion on the horizon?
