General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s always a lot of talk about Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) long-term coma and all the years she was robbed of, but what if a new coma is in her future?
Now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is roaming around free, no one is truly safe in Port Charles. However, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wife could be in more danger than just about anyone!
Cyrus tends to make gutsy decisions that could backfire on him, so one of his next choices could involve going too far in his feud with Sonny.
It’s one thing for Cyrus to try to send Sonny to prison; it’s quite another to pull a stunt that ends up harming someone Sonny loves.
The timing feels right for Nina to face a life-threatening ordeal anyway since it could complicate the SEC snitch situation.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is blackmailing Nina over her role in turning Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in for insider trading.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has remembered the truth as well, so he could eventually rat Nina out for her vindictive behavior.
GH writers may need a way to offset some of the damage Nina’s secret has done.
After all, that’s the approach they took with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) when they gave her amnesia and used that to skip over most of the consequences she would’ve faced otherwise.
Will Nina also receive a get-out-of-jail-free card of some sort?
Carly warned Sonny to watch his back since she doesn’t feel like he’s as protected as he should be without Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
That could be a hint about some looming danger – and that could make Nina a victim.
What if something happens to Nina as a result of Sonny’s feud with Cyrus? Will Cyrus accidentally harm Nina or perhaps intentionally hurt her to show Sonny who’s boss?
There might even be a situation where Nina gets harmed protecting Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and the grandkids.
Whatever the case, Nina could get injured badly enough to face a new coma crisis.
Perhaps the SEC shocker could come out just before Nina’s ordeal or even while she’s on ice.
Either way, Sonny and Willow might forget all about their outrage over Nina’s betrayal if she’s fighting for her life!
