General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will get closer. Will ‘Spixie’ actually reunite romantically?
General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Jones Scared Of Her Own Feelings
Spinelli didn’t know what to think at karaoke night at Charlie’s Pub when he kissed Maxie and she had such a strange reaction. She kissed him back and definitely responded in kind with passion, but then she suddenly ran out of there wanting to go home!
Maxie’s probably scared of her own feelings and reactions, considering she’s had such a spate of bad luck with men-what with a dead husband and two dead fiancés.
Both he and she had been denying romantic feelings and attractions even though they have a daughter together-Maxie miscarried the embryo she was carrying for Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
But that was a wild happenstance, involving tripping over a puppy and winding up in bed, and even then Maxie was trying to be a surrogate!
GH Spoilers: Damian Spinelli Didn’t Think He Had A Chance
It had literally been years since Spinelli and Maxie almost got married-then didn’t, and even though that didn’t happen a bond obviously remained.
They talked about their friendship and that Maxie could always count on Spinelli, and they talked about their non-wedding and other memories.
Their would-be matchmakers Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) at least got them to admit there was something there and got them started talking.
But can all this talking about their memories and their romantic past together get the fire started, or will it just stay a cooled down coal? Spinelli’s got to be wondering if Maxie will ever admit her feelings for him are warming up again-might she be afraid she’ll be bad luck and bring him death?
General Hospital Spoilers: Try, Try Again
Maxie and Spinelli keep talking, however, as long as he’s staying in her house they may as well see where it goes; he’d had hopes but kept denying them.
He didn’t expect she’d ever be his “Maximista” again like she once was, but now, in close quarters, she’s finally admitting she likes him around. It may not be a passionate epiphany that sends them to elope or anything like that, just a comfortable coupledom they ease into slowly.
All of Maxie’s children love having Spinelli there, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) of course the most of all, she’s wanted her parents back together forever. But even though it’s not a passionate romance just yet, they are talking and they are getting closer again.
