GH Spoilers: Cyrus’ Hypnosis & Coded Messages – The Truth Behind Twisted Radio Show?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is quite excited about his radio show, which is called “Searching with Cyrus.” The baddie claims to be reformed and acts eager to share the good news of the Lord, but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is right to suspect ulterior motives.

When Cyrus’ radio show first aired on the February 16 episode, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) wasn’t impressed and advised Laura to turn it off. However, Laura insisted on listening since she was on a mission to uncover the truth.

“I’m going to listen to every word,” Laura declared. “I need to understand what Cyrus is REALLY saying.”

Of course, that means there must be more to the story when it comes to Cyrus’ radio show.

This isn’t just about Cyrus’ promoting his “changed man” image or simply adding to his flock.

Laura seemingly offered a huge hint with that comment, which suggests that Cyrus’ words actually mean something else.

On the surface, Cyrus’ sermon seemed innocent enough. It contained Cyrus’ typical religious platitudes as he talked about giving burdens to the Lord and finding freedom.

Cyrus insisted he wanted to help his listeners live a life of peace and encouraged others to do the same. “If I can find my way to a better place, so can you,” Cyrus said.

We’ve established that things aren’t quite as they seem when it comes to this radio show, so there’s the potential for some coded messages here.

Laura’s clue about what Cyrus was “really saying” could mean he’s actually sending out orders that are being deciphered.

Cyrus’ criminal ties are still in play despite his claims to the contrary, so perhaps this is a form of communication to his employees.

Then again, GH could make things even more twisted if some hypnosis is involved. There could be certain people who’ll be affected by trigger words – like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Everyone keeps talking about how Drew changed when he came out of Pentonville, so maybe that was Cyrus’ doing.

Drew may not realize he’s been brainwashed again, so maybe Cyrus will somehow be able to activate his dangerous side with his subliminal messages.
