General Hospital Spoilers: Goodbye to Eddie – Ned’s Accident & Memory Flood Confirmed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some big changes are coming to “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) life in the coming weeks. GH fans know “Eddie” currently has no interest in being Ned again since he’s just fine with the way things are.

However, it turns out “Eddie” is going to face a memory flood whether he wants one or not! “Eddie” already had a memory flash of being on the Brooklyn Bridge with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) on their wedding day, but that was just the beginning.

Ned is trying to push through and reclaim his life, but it’s clear that “Eddie” is unsettled and resisting that idea.

Of course, there’ll have to be a turning point, so something big will indeed happen this November.

CDL previously speculated that “Eddie” might have another accident that ultimately jogs his memory – and based on the latest November preview info, that’s exactly what’s going to play out.

“Eddie” lost his memory through an accident, but now he’s about to face one that’ll apparently bring total recall.

Many fans are over the whole “Eddie” storyline at this point, so most of us will give Ned a warm welcome back.

Naturally, this means we’ll officially say goodbye to “Eddie” in the not-too-distant future.

Ned will reclaim his life, but this could be a situation like what happened in Nixon Falls with “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Ever since Sonny came home from that ordeal, it’s always felt like he kept a little piece of “Mike” when it comes to his personality. The same may be true for Ned once he finally remembers his old life.

There may be some traces of “Eddie” left behind, but the important thing is he’ll remember the people he loves.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will certainly be happy about that and will hope to get things back on track in her marriage.

As for Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) role in ratting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out to the SEC, will Ned remember that once his memories return?

It’s possible Ned will recall almost everything except for what happened just before his pool dive.

Then again, it’s possible Ned will remember Nina’s guilt and find himself ready to spill the truth!
