GH Spoilers: The End of Sam & Dante – See Why Leather Jacket & Motorcycle Clues Doom Couple

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) recently gave Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift, but it was more than just a sweet gesture. It also felt like an ominous clue about the end of Sam and Dante’s romance.

Sam was surprised when she opened the giftbox to find a black leather jacket, which she gushed over right away.

Since Sam had mentioned wanting to get back into motorcycle riding, Dante thought it’d be a nice present to support that.

However, we can’t ignore the fact that motorcycles and black leather jackets are giant reminders of Sam’s past with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Under the circumstances, Dante might as well have just gift-wrapped Jason and handed him back to Sam!

Of course, Jason isn’t back on-screen just yet, but Steve Burton is already filming.

GH fans will see Jason make his first return appearance on March 4, so it won’t be long until he’s a key player again.

With that in mind, it’s probably a bad sign that Dante is giving Sam a leather jacket and talking to her about motorcycle riding.

It’s almost like Dante himself is pushing Sam back in Jason’s direction before he even resurfaces.

That may not be a bad thing depending on your perspective.

Many GH fans are always going to root for Jason and Sam’s love story, so those viewers will be eager to see a romantic reunion if it indeed happens.

As for Dante, his single status would be a plus for Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) once she wakes up from her coma.

Lulu and Dante might get their own chance at happily ever after, so maybe we shouldn’t feel too sorry for Dante!

Whatever the case, the show’s already laying the groundwork for Sam and Dante’s split. Sam may end up donning that leather jacket and riding a motorcycle with Jason down the road!
