General Hospital Nicholas Alexander Chavez Confirms GH Exit, Read His Message To Fans!
General Hospital spoilers indicate that official word has come regarding Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s tenure on GH.
Chavez will not be returning to the role of Spencer Cassadine after all. Confirming reports published last month, Chavez released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) that formalized his departure while also thanking fans for their support.

Chavez started off by letting everyone know how much he appreciated his time on General Hospital and admitted that he wouldn’t be as busy in his career now if it weren’t for the cast and crew, singling out executive producer Frank Valentini as a terrific mentor.
He went on further to state that there have been continued conversations about his future on the show. While there are no current plans for his return, the two have discussed bringing Spencer back in the future.

Chavez also commented on the warm receptions fans of GH have given him, especially regarding his wildly popular pairing with Tabyana Ali’s Trina Robinson. He disclosed that be believed their fans were some of the most devoted and kind fan bases in entertainment.
He closed the message by telling them that he loved them all very much. At one point, he also said that there were no words to show the depth of his gratitude.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nicholas Chavez originally planned to return to General Hospital
Earlier this year, Chavez took what was originally called a temporary leave of absence from General Hospital to film season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series Monster.
But fans began to worry when his name was removed from the show’s closing credits in late March. For now, Spencer Cassadine will remain missing and presumed dead. Chavez joined GH in 2021 and won an Emmy for the role the following year. He certainly will be missed.
