General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Crashes & Burns with Huge Crimson Blunder – Nina Saves the Day?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) did her best to convince her doubters that she was capable of handling Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) job. Carly even managed to impress Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) by somehow predicting the exact terms Tracy would push for in Crimson’s new advertising contract with Deception.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Crashes & Burns with Huge Crimson Blunder – Nina Saves the Day?

However, those GH scenes highlighted one of the biggest problems with the current writing for Carly:

All she does is win, win, win no matter what! Even when Carly “loses,” she doesn’t truly lose.

Can we really say Carly lost Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when she was the one who pushed for the divorce?

Can we really say Carly lost her hotel half when she was too stubborn to accept multiple offers to get it back?

Carly did lose Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for a while due to his Pentonville stint, but that was only temporary – and to be fair, Drew committed the crime he went to prison for.

Regardless, Carly is top dog at Deception now and seems poised to be the amazing Super Carly once again.

There’s not a lot of entertainment value in Carly constantly being incredible at everything she does.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) acted like Nina could use a dose of humility, but the same could be said for Carly. T

his would actually be a good opportunity to humble Carly a bit if she makes a huge Crimson blunder.

Carly came out of the gate strong with that Deception deal, but that doesn’t mean she knows how to run a magazine.

What if Carly screws up big time and does something to jeopardize the important April issue that’s coming up?

It’s doubtful that Carly would ever send an SOS to Nina, but Nina might land in the right place at the right time to help her anyway.

Nina cares about Crimson, so she might put her feud with Carly aside and put the magazine first in that moment.

It would show growth for Nina and perhaps growth for Carly too if she’s actually willing to accept her enemy’s assistance on this.

Nina might salvage the issue and avert the crisis in the end.

That might even lead to Carly realizing that Nina still needs to be running the show at Crimson.

Wouldn’t the ideal solution here be for Nina to trade her half of the Metro Court for her old Crimson role?

That would put everyone back where they belong and maybe set the stage for the show to finally get away from all the Nina and Carly clashing.

General Hospital spoilers say some major Crimson developments are still to come, so stay tuned for updates on all the exciting news ahead.
