GH Spoilers: Thursday, January 4 – Carly Unleashes Nina Fury – Laura Sends Esme to Cops – Sonny Rages at Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 4, reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have mixed emotions when it comes to his upcoming experimental procedure. Although it could give Curtis the chance to walk again, he’ll also consider the possibility that the procedure may not work – and that could lead to crushing disappointment.

As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll talk about having big plans for 2024. Portia will start the new year off right by embracing some romantic time with Curtis, who’ll pull off a surprise romantic gesture for her.

In the backroom of the gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will wonder what Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is planning to do to Esme Prince (Avery Pohl).

Since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) got what he deserved, Nikolas suggested to Ava that they should make sure Esme gets what’s coming to her, too.

Even if Nikolas doesn’t plan to go as far as wiping Esme off the map, he might plot to put her in prison or have another strategy that could get her out of the picture permanently.

Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will discover something about Esme, so maybe she’ll spot Esme’s glove and realize it matches the one that was found at Wyndemere.

In Thursday’s GH preview video, Laura tells Esme that she’ll have to turn herself in, which results in Esme looking a bit panicked.

Esme might claim she went to Wyndemere hoping to jog her memory and then freaked once she was about to get busted.

Of course, Esme will likely keep up the amnesia charade, but she’ll still land in a tight spot thanks to this Wyndemere break-in.

Over with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll fume over Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) controlling how much time she spent with Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and influencing things behind the scenes.

“What kind of marriage is that?” Willow asks Michael in Thursday’s GH preview clip.

It’s clear that Willow will be riled up over Michael’s deception and manipulation, so their relationship will take a major hit.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, she’ll probably try to turn Nina away. Nina just showed up at Carly’s door, but Carly’s still reeling over the news of Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) demise and may push her to get lost.

Nina may not realize Carly’s dealing with a terrible loss and that it’s not the best time to be delivering another round of drama.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will insist there’s something she needs to tell both Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so it looks like she’ll admit she tipped off the SEC now that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has busted her.

Carly will fly into a rage, so Nina will face even more backlash over her decision to rat Carly and Drew out.

At the church, Sonny will have an unexpected encounter with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so that’ll lead to some tense moments.

Sonny will snap that now is not the time to be pushing him, so Cyrus may assume Nina did what he urged her to do and came clean.

When Nina told Sonny that she was planning on confessing, he didn’t believe her. However, Sonny may soon realize Cyrus gave Nina an ultimatum after she unburdened herself to him by mistake.

Finally, Josslyn Jacks (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will spot an intoxicated Adam Wright (Joshua Benard), so they’ll try to help him as he spins out over all his parents’ pressure.
