It has been a while since we saw the young and charming William Lipton as Cam on GH. However, General Hospital spoilers show no signs of Cam’s return to the screen anytime soon. Regular viewers of the ABC soap will remember that Cam left Port Charles in favor of a scholarship at Stanford in early 2023. That happened right after Joss broke his heart and dumped him for Dex. Thus, it did make a lot of sense that he didn’t want to be in PC anymore.
However, General Hospital spoilers back then hinted that it was not a story-dictated move. But was incorporated to accommodate William Lipton’s leave for personal reasons. And it looks like a lot has been happening in the soap star’s life off-camera! Cameron recently took to his Instagram stories to share a rather pleasant but surprising life update. As it turns out, he has been in a steady relationship for the past 6 months. He had been keeping it on the DL. But it seems that he is ready to declare his love to the whole world!
In a series of stories, William posted two pictures of himself with a beautiful female companion. The General Hospital star addressed her as “Hiya Pretty” with a heart-eye emoji in the first picture. Furthermore, he announced that it had been 6 months since the couple was in a relationship. The both of them look absolutely picture-perfect together.
Interestingly, a while back, some General Hospital spoilers had hinted that Cam may return with a girlfriend in tow to PC. However, that didn’t really happen – neither his return- nor the girlfriend. Well, at least not yet, anyway! But it is so heartening to know that William may actually return to GH as a totally smitten kitten! Aah, young love! But we still have to say that the way he left so down and broken, we really hope Cam returns just as much in love as his real-life counterpart!
Besides, it might be fun to watch Cam’s current meeting with Cam’s ex! There could also be some jealousy angle at play from Joss’ side. After all, that’s how soaps work, and we love it! What do you say? Tell us in the comments.
