General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, October 11 tease new jobs, old attitudes, and fresh starts. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) acclimates a new employee, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has the same old attitude, and will Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) want a fresh start with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer)?
General Hospital Spoilers – New Jobs
At the hospital, Stella is in the midst of acclimating Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to her new job as a patient advocate. She asks Felicia if she wants to switch it up a bit again, and Felicia asks her what she has in mind.
Being a patient advocate is not a career for everyone, especially if a person has a tender heart.
A balance must be struck between being kind and helpful to a patient and their family and not getting emotionally attached. Sometimes the patient will come through and heal, and sometimes, like doctors, the patient advocate has to deal with death.
GH Spoilers – Trina Robinson Catches Up
Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali) freshly home from her romantic trip to New York City with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), will catch up with family. In the meantime, Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Donnell Turner, Robert Gossett) are talking about her. Curtis tells
Marshall he doesn’t think he can tell his daughter who to be with or what to do-among the Ashford-Robinson family, most members don’t approve of Spencer. But Curtis saw how protective he was of Trina when they were on the Haunted Star in Greenland-so he would have a different opinion.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn’s Last Minute Request
At the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has what looks like a last minute request as he rushes up to the Nurses’ Station to talk to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Fresh from an emotional talk with his father, after witnessing his brother get bad news, he obviously wants to get his mind off things.
However, Elizabeth doesn’t have the most positive look on her face, and she’ll make a confession.
Perhaps she hasn’t had the best day either, and the two have been on night shift for a while it seems. Maybe she has a better idea she’d like to ask him about?
GH Spoilers – Portia Robinson Says Yes
Even though Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will say yes to a co-chief of staff position offered her, in an office at GH she tells someone she had a change of heart. She’ll have talked about it to Stella, and she’ll urge her to take the job.
She could be updating the person who offered the co-chief of staff job that she’ll take it after initially needing to think about it. The position has been vacant ever since the death of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) so a new co-chief of staff is sorely needed.
General Hospital Spoilers – Family Is Important
Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) shows up at Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) apartment after learning from Finn that Chase found out about his ALS. Gregory had regretted not telling him sooner, but didn’t want to kill his happy mood when he and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) reconciled.
Finn had told Gregory that Chase was devastated and traumatized after Tracy had let it slip, assuming he’d already known.
Family is important, and no one knows that better than Gregory-both have tears in their eyes. Gregory apologizes for not telling Chase sooner, and says it’s not fair to him, and he’s so sorry!
GH Spoilers – Same Old Attitude
Prior to Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) arrival at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn tears into Tracy for telling Chase about Greg’s ALS. She’s always butting in where she shouldn’t, and trying to take control that isn’t hers.
Lois will interrupt their conversation, but she’ll find out Tracy has the same old attitude. Tracy asks Brook Lynn what exactly does she think she did, playing dumb and denying, denying, denying!
General Hospital Spoilers – Fresh Starts?
As Tracy, Lois, and Brook Lynn are talking, Eddie wanders in and recognizes Lois-and she says he should, she’s his ex-wife and the mother of his daughter!
Lois obviously hasn’t been brought in the loop about Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) amnesia. Brook Lynn will be hopeful as well as Tracy that maybe his memory has come back.
Then Eddie explains how he recognizes Lois-it’s not from memories, or old photos that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) showed him. He tells Lois she was in his dream-the dream that inspired the song about the siren-might he want a fresh start or a new start?
