Gabriel Brown Admits Christine & David’s Wedding’s Brought Together “Real Brown Family”

Sister Wives star Gabriel Brown reveals how aunt Christine Brown’s wedding helped unite the Brown family. The popular polygamous household was once complete. Kody Brown was married to his four wives and raised his eighteen kids. Unfortunately, things changed in 2021 when Christine divorced Kody to focus on herself. Gabriel’s mom, Janelle Brown, also followed suit and ended her relationship with the polygamous man in 2022. Christine married the love of her life, David Woolley, a few months ago. The couple had a beautiful wedding surrounded by their family members. They allowed TLC to film it and televise it in January 2024.
Many family members have shared their opinions on Christine’s wedding. Most recently, Janelle’s son, Gabriel, talked about the family event and shared how it was the ultimate Brown family reunion. The young man spoke to the cameras during the Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding special episode and revealed how wholesome it felt. He said, “for the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back.” Gabriel said that everyone who mattered was there at the wedding. He felt like he finally had his family back together. Gabriel added it was a unique experience they hadn’t had in a long time.
The Brown Family Members Who Did & Didn’t Attend The Wedding
Christine and David’s wedding was truly a grand family gathering. The massive event had many familiar faces and fellow Sister Wives stars. The main family members who attended the wedding included Christine’s children, father, mother, and siblings. Next was David’s family, his kids, sisters, and more. Christine’s best friend and former sister wife, Janelle, also attended the wedding and came with all her children. Meri Brown’s kid Leon and some members of Kody’s family were also there. The only people who didn’t attend the wedding were Kody, Meri, and Robyn. Christine’s daughter Gwen was also absent at the celebration for completely different reasons.
It’s understandable why Gabriel feels the wedding felt like a Brown family reunion. While Kody, Robyn, and many others didn’t attend the celebration, there were still enough members to make it feel like a true family event. Gabriel probably thinks Christine’s wedding brought the real Brown family together because these were the only members he had grown up around. Over the years, Gabriel must have seen these same people gather during the Christmas reunions and other occasions. Since there hadn’t been many family gatherings due to Kody’s breakups over the years, Gabriel felt the wedding was the real event that brought his family back together.
It’s also easy to see why Gabriel didn’t say he missed his dad and aunt Robyn at the wedding. Kody and his fourth wife are the main reason the Brown family collapsed. The couple stopped caring for polygamy, which pushed Janelle, Meri, and Christine to move away. Kody’s behavior was probably the most important reason the Brown family didn’t remain what it was before. His lack of concern and love for his other wives and children truly ruined what was once a big family. Thankfully, Christine’s tight bond with Janelle would always allow part of the Brown family to interact as usual. Hopefully, the popular Sister Wives stars will keep on holding gatherings.
