GH Spoilers: Spencer Rages Over Nikolas Reunion – Long-Awaited Showdown for Father & Son

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) recently showed back up in Port Charles and sought Ava Jerome (Maura West) out for confrontation. However, many fans are eager to see Nikolas have a tense reunion with someone else – namely his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

It looks like that reunion could finally be coming during the week of January 8-12. GH fans can expect Spencer to get an unexpected visitor the same day Nikolas and Ava share some new scenes.

Nikolas may have another conversation with Ava about the party he wants her to throw and the plan to take down Esme Prince (Avery Pohl).

Although Nikolas hasn’t offered many details yet, he may open up more about what’s in store as we get closer to Esme’s comeuppance.

In the meantime, Nikolas needs to reunite with Spencer and try to hash things out. There’ll be a lot of big emotions on both sides if Nikolas is indeed Spencer’s upcoming visitor.

Spencer feels abandoned by his father once again – and he’s not happy about Nikolas abandoning Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) either.

Once Spencer realizes Nikolas is back in the picture, he may fly into a rage and argue that Nik doesn’t get to just resurface like nothing happened.

Spencer may rip into Nikolas and make it clear that they’re all better off without him.

Of course, it wasn’t entirely Nikolas’ fault that he stayed away. Nikolas may not rat Ava out for bashing him in the head, but he could allude to some complications and maybe even admit he had a major health crisis.

Nevertheless, Nikolas did keep his distance after he recovered, so he can’t really blame anyone but himself for staying gone that long.

Regardless, Nikolas may think what really matters is what they do next.

Perhaps Nikolas will bring up Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme’s manipulation before telling Spencer they can’t let that ruin their relationship forever.

Spencer has made mistakes of his own, so Nikolas may point that out too and plead for a clean slate.

Naturally, it’s doubtful that Spencer will just be willing to forgive and forget!

Even so, they have to start somewhere, so Nikolas may reach out and take the first step toward trying to repair his father-son bond with Spencer.
