A source revealed that there was “no love lost” between Meri and Christine. They had a falling out after the latter’s decision to move to Utah after ending things with Kody in 2021. Moreover, they never really shared a good bond, even as Sister Wives. So Meri had no issue about being a part of Christine’s special day as it wouldn’t have made sense for her to go due to these reasons.

The latter confirmed she knew that the new couple was “getting married.” But she didn’t “exactly know” when it was going to happen. This made it obvious to the fans that she wouldn’t be going to her Sister Wives’ wedding.
