Sister Wives: Kody’s Pride Leads to Bizarre Blunder?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown never seems short on pride when it comes to his effect on the world, which he demonstrated through the years during this TLC series. So, it was no surprise to many viewers when he inserted himself into a place where he wasn’t wanted, and where he didn’t belong.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Wasn’t Watching the Brown Wedding

Kody Brown watched as Christine Brown became Mr. David Woolley in an event that took up two full episodes. It looked as though his wife, Robyn Brown, caught her husband a couple of times before he put his foot in his mouth.

At one point, she used her hands to cover the Sister Wives patriarch’s mouth. That’s because it sounded as if Kody was about to spew a negative comment about Christine.

But during another Sister Wives scene from the wedding event, she makes a different move to shut him up. Robyn just smashed her lips into his and gave him a long kiss. At the same time, she made a hand motion for the camera to go away.

But Kody managed to get something past his guardian, Robyn. And this prompted the Sister Wives viewers to head to social media.

It’s All About Him…

This event had nothing at all to do with Kody Brown. This was not the Brown family’s wedding, although it’s featured on Sister Wives. No, it was the Woolley wedding, as Christine Brown legally took her new husband’s last name.

But Kody blurted out that the one thing he will miss by not being there is the Brown family mosh pit. Fans got online after this to suggest that he sounds like he just can’t let Christine go, despite his well-wishes on the Sister Wives special.

Other fans took it as a dig at David Woolley. It was as if Kody Brown had some ownership of the dancing going on at the wedding. But instead, when Christine and David blended their two families, a phenomenon surfaced on the dance floor. Not Kody Brown’s mosh pit.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Mosh Pit – Just Another Name For…

Christine called it a flash mob as their wedding guests surrounded them for a special, but unplanned dance. Once in the middle of this group, the guests’ movements started coordinating.

This mob of people surrounded the newlyweds in the season’s final Sister Wives episode. The guests on the dance floor all reached for the sky to the beat of the music. To both the bride and the groom, this was a very touching, unexpected happening. And it looked nothing like Kody’s mosh pit.

Kody’s mosh pit is another name for him getting in the middle of his family as the center of attention. Once in the middle he jumps, swirls, hops, and skips to the music. Robyn Brown described dancing with Kody as something she’d rather not do.

She said when they get out on the dance floor, she becomes a pole for Kody to circle while demonstrating his moves. Sister Wives fans have seen what happens when Kody steps out on the dance floor with a partner.

That lasts only seconds, then he inevitably turns it into a solo act. So, as fans suggest, of course he missed that. It’s usually his way of making himself the center of attention.

Brown Family Back Together

Kody’s children made up a good portion of the family at this event. Several of the kids told the Sister Wives camera that this wedding brought the Brown family back together, and it was wonderful. A fan offered a quote by Gabriel Brown, Janelle Brown‘s son, in the post below.

But that had to sting once Kody heard it. His idea of the family getting back together likely includes him and Robyn being there as well. But as far as the kids were concerned, being there with Christine and Janelle seemed to bring back the happy times with their family bond.

As far as Kody Brown goes, attempting to call the dancing at the wedding the Brown family mosh pit, didn’t pan well. Fans found Christine’s flash mob dancing description a much better way to describe the love going on in that room. They all looked so happy in the final episode of TLC’s Season 18.
