GH Spoilers: Will Carly & Sonny Reunite in 2024 – Couple’s Chance to Reboot Romance?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be exes for the moment, but these two could find their way back together in the new year.

Sonny and Carly are always going to be in each other’s lives due to the children they share, but there’s a chance they could eventually become more than former flames and co-parents again.

Will Carly and Sonny reunite in 2024? Is a romantic reboot coming for “CarSon” down the road?

That’s an option worth considering when you think about Sonny and Carly’s history of reuniting over the years. You can never really count out Carly and Sonny’s romance for good!

Sonny is currently happy with Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), but their marriage could come crashing down once he realizes she’s been lying to him for months.

Nina has really piled on the deception when it comes to this whole SEC snitching situation and has even allowed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to blackmail her instead of coming clean.

Sonny should be angry with Michael for that too, but he might consider Nina’s betrayal worse since she’s his wife and should’ve trusted him with the truth long before now.

There’s also the matter of how Nina’s actions affected Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so Sonny will have multiple reasons to pull away from Nina once things blow up.

Meanwhile, Carly will be crushed when she gets updates on Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) passing.

It won’t be long until Carly gets horrible news about her mother’s grim fate, so Bobbie’s demise will really leave her struggling.

Although Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will come home and be there for Carly, Sonny will inevitably support her as well.

What happens the next time Drew has to go out of town suddenly or perhaps gets shipped off to prison again?

Will Sonny end up with Carly in his arms and maybe even in his bed?

The show’s willing to work with Cameron Mathison on a flexible schedule so he can film other projects, but that could still affect Drew’s airtime and storyline.

Bottom line, it would be incredibly easy for GH writers to do a Carly and Sonny reunion in 2024 – at least in some form.

It could involve the road to being a real couple again or just a hot hookup in a moment when both Sonny and Carly need comfort.
