GH Spoilers: Donna Kidnapped to Force Sonny’s Pikeman Deal – Mr. Brennan’s Drastic Move?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) recently refused to do any further business with Pikeman, which is a problem for Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure). Roman Hume (Mark Engelhardt) made a very profitable pitch to Sonny, who insisted he wouldn’t facilitate any more shipments at any price.
With that in mind, Mr. Brennan realizes he’ll have to use another kind of leverage to ensure Sonny’s cooperation.
Perhaps the only surefire way to get Sonny on board is to pose a serious threat to one or more of his family members.
In other words, Mr. Brennan might create a life-threatening situation for someone Sonny loves and then force him to fulfill certain demands.
A kidnapping crisis would work here since the hostage could be released once Sonny moved the shipment like he was supposed to.
Mr. Brennan has been getting to know Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and took a special interest in Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) on the December 13 episode.
It was troubling to see Mr. Brennan returning Donna’s soccer ball, buying her hot chocolate and commenting on her qualities that reminded him of Carly.
Now that GH writers have put Donna in Mr. Brennan’s orbit, major trouble could be brewing.
Could Mr. Brennan settle on Donna as the leverage that’ll get Sonny to cooperate?
It’d be easy for Mr. Brennan to order Donna’s snatching and hold her captive somewhere until Sonny relents on the new shipment.
Donna could end up facing a scary ordeal and leave Sonny feeling guilty for getting his daughter stuck in this mess.
Mr. Brennan might even turn this into an opportunity to make himself the hero in Carly’s eyes.
Maybe Mr. Brennan could pretend to help Carly crack the case of where Donna is and who’s got her – all while having his men hold Donna in captivity.
Naturally, Mr. Brennan will have to be careful and avoid tipping anyone off to what he’s really up to, but Sonny could grow suspicious of him sooner or later.
