General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) has emerged as the latest villain on the ABC soap. In addition to running Pikeman, Brennan is the new director of the WSB, so that makes him a key player and a serious threat.
Now that Mr. Brennan is confirmed to be the baddie going after both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), he’ll be getting plenty of airtime.
It’s clear that Brennan’s made some shocking moves and will soon make even more! Since Mr. Brennan is quickly becoming an important character, we have to consider whether the show might give him a familiar connection or two in town.
Could Brennan have a biological child somewhere in Port Charles? If so, that could raise the stakes and create other story opportunities for the character and anyone he might be related to.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is a blank slate since there’s no confirmation on who his biological parents actually are. It’d be interesting if Mr. Brennan turned out to be Dex’s bio dad.
The whole accent thing doesn’t matter if Dex was raised by someone else far away from Australia. This could be a situation where Brennan abandoned Dex, so that’s a possibility worth mulling over.
Then again, it’s possible Mr. Brennan actually did play a minor role in raising Dex, but perhaps he wasn’t in the picture enough to make an impact or truly watch out for his son.
Dex has talked about how his brothers used to smack him around and put him in the hospital while his parents did nothing. If Brennan is Dex’s bio dad, he might’ve been hands-off and not very fatherly.
It’s worth mentioning that Dex always seems to know far too much about Pikeman! Could that be a clue about Dex’s hidden link to Mr. Brennan and a major father-son revelation?
During the week of December 11-15, Dex will confide in Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). GH fans will hear Dex make some confessions about his past, so the timing is interesting.
Will Dex share some new puzzle pieces from his history that tie in with Mr. Brennan? Time will tell, but Dex will definitely do some reflecting and could reveal some things that’ll turn out to be important.
