GH Spoilers: Sonny Busts Controlling Michael – Demands Answers About Keeping Nina & Willow Apart?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could go overboard on his power trip and live to regret it. Ever since Michael found out about Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) being the SEC snitch, he’s been running the show.
Michael is now blackmailing Nina, so he’s threatening to spill the beans to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) unless she follows orders.
That means Michael is heavily restricting Nina’s access to Willow and the grandkids, but Nina’s supposed to just accept that and take whatever he gives her.
The problem is Michael’s anger seems to be growing stronger all the time.
Instead of just curbing Nina’s involvement in Willow, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos’ (Bo Harrison) lives, Michael seems determined to shut her out completely.
Nina can’t even leave a gift basket on the doorstep without Michael causing a big fuss about it.
Of course, Michael also had a huge issue with Nina delivering the pizzas and desserts from the Metro Court on Thanksgiving Day. Never mind the fact that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) called Nina and sought help!
Michael privately reminded Nina that this wasn’t their deal, but she pointed out that she didn’t plan this.
Nina can’t control fate, but Michael angrily warned that she’d better figure out a way to control it.
What kind of response is that? Michael’s behavior is getting ridiculous, so it’s honestly hard to see why Nina thinks this is any better than just telling the truth and letting the chips fall where they may.
GH fans know Nina barely gets to see Willow and the kids anyway since Michael’s gatekeeping has gotten so intense.
However, Nina wants to preserve Willow’s positive view of her along with her solid marriage to Sonny, so Michael has some power here – power that he’s exploiting at the expense of his family.
Michael claims to only want Willow and the kids’ happiness, but he’s manipulating things behind the scenes and sabotaging their relationships with Nina.
Now that Michael’s controlling nature is becoming more and more apparent, it may not be too long until Sonny realizes something’s wrong.
Sonny will get into an argument with Nina during the week of December 4-8, so that could be about why Nina keeps turning down opportunities to grow closer to Willow and spend time with the grandchildren.
Even if Nina stays cagey about her real reasons, Sonny could eventually bust Michael and figure out that his son is somehow pulling the strings here.
Will Sonny confront Michael and pull the truth out of him?
Could Sonny pressure Michael until he finally cracks and blurts out Nina’s role in turning Carly and Drew over to the SEC?
