GH Spoilers: Wednesday, January 3 – Michael’s Nina Blackmail Backfires – Drew Comforts Carly – Ava’s Terror
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 3, reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will offer up more of an explanation now that he’s blurted out the truth. Right as Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) arrived with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that Nina was the one who snitched to the SEC.
Nina ratted out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so that news will bring her downfall.
Sonny will struggle to wrap his head around Michael’s info in Wednesday’s GH episode, so he’ll need to hear more about how it all went down.
Willow will have questions next since Nina’s secret affects her, too.
Michael will keep pushing this narrative of how he wanted to preserve everybody’s happiness, but Willow will suspect he had a hidden agenda.
Nina doesn’t want to hurt Willow and Sonny any more than she already has, so she might keep quiet about Michael’s blackmail initially.
However, it seems Willow will figure it out anyway and lash out over Michael controlling everything behind the scenes.
That’s something Sonny will be furious about as well since Michael went beyond just keeping quiet. Michael used the secret as leverage, so he’ll have to face some consequences for that.
Of course, this will also serve as Nina’s day of reckoning, so she’ll face some heartbreak once Willow and Sonny unleash their fury.
Over with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she’ll continue to reel over the updates she received from the American embassy in Amsterdam.
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) passed away while she was sleeping, so Carly will give Drew the details of what she’s learned and lean on him for support.
Drew will know that he can’t fix Carly’s pain, but he’ll still wrap his arms around her and do his best to offer comfort during a difficult time.
Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will begin solving a puzzle.
That could mean Tracy will figure out Nina’s guilt and learn why Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) friendship with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) just blew up.
Lois threw Olivia’s old secret about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) being Sonny’s son in her face and brought back a lot of tough memories, so something has truly fractured between them.
Then again, Tracy might solve a different puzzle if she connects some dots related to the scheme Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) have set in motion.
Finally, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will get a visit from someone unexpected, so she’ll panic when a mystery man shows up and clamps his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.
Is this how Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) will make his Port Charles comeback? Will Nikolas catch Ava by surprise with his sudden appearance?
