General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) “leap of faith” into the lake will result in a dream come true for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Despite some scary moments under the water, Ned should face a memory flood when he finally surfaces.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Ned will experience total recall.
It’s common for someone in Ned’s situation to not remember exactly what happened just before the accident – and in this case, the accident that started all this was Ned’s pool tumble.
Ned found out Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) was behind the SEC tip and resolved to tell Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but he slipped and fell before he had the chance. That led to Ned’s pool crisis and all the memory mayhem in the aftermath.
It’d be perfectly reasonable if Ned didn’t remember the events right before this amnesia-causing injury.
However, Ned seems poised to remember everything else, so Olivia will be overjoyed to have her husband back.
Naturally, it’s also possible Ned will indeed remember that Nina had Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) call the SEC, but he might choose to keep that info to himself.
After all, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) went out of his way to help “Eddie” with his music career and has done a lot for Ned during this difficult time.
Like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Ned may decide not to destroy Sonny’s happiness since he’s really on cloud nine in his new marriage to Nina.
Either way, there are things that still need to play out for November sweeps that haven’t happened yet.
GH spoilers say Nina’s business proposition will leave Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) suspicious, so that’ll presumably involve Michael’s blackmail demand about the Metro Court.
Michael wants Nina to sell Carly back her half of the hotel, so Nina may come up with some flimsy excuse to set that plan in motion and raise suspicions in the process.
Since all this business stuff is still promised in November preview info, it seems Ned won’t blow up the real SEC snitch news – at least not before all the looming Metro Court drama!
