Ever since Baby Ace (Joey & Jay Clay) debuted on General Hospital, they became literal stars! Fans and co-stars alike cannot stop swooning over the baby (babies). However, it seems that the tiny twins are missing in action these days. The babies seemingly are not filming for new scenes these days. Which means that they won’t be on-screen for a couple of episodes in the upcoming weeks. But why is that? Could it be part of some really heated up and thrilling storyline? There have been many speculations that now since Nik is back, he may want his son.
However, there is no way Esme would give her precious baby to Nik. Thus, it is quite possible that Nik would go on to snatch what he believes is his on General Hospital. We have seen similar storylines go down way too many times to write it off as a possibility. However, while it is a rather plausible story for the screen, the story behind the little munchkins’ absence in real life is far less dramatic. Here’s the real reason why the baby stars are MIA!
Joey and Jay’s mom Lana Clay took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a real life update about the little soap stars. She posted that she along with her sons has been sick for the last two weeks. Furthermore, she added that all three of them are missing their General Hospital family. She wrapped up the post with adding hashtags – Baby Ace, Ace Cassadine, and GH. As soon as made her post, the fans and followers started to flood the comments section with Get Well Soon messages!
While most of the fan comments had a common theme of wishing the family a speedy recovery. Most fans added really cute get well soon gifs and emojis. Letting Lana know that how much they love her kids and her. However, a fellow mom wrote out a message that she resonates with the family. She pointed that she knows how hard it is to get over such flus. Since it starts from one person and then spreads to other members of the family in small intervals. One mama also added that Moms get worst hit by these flus because they have to take care of themselves when sick and other people of the family too!
Thus, support came in full swing for Lana to get through the sick days as soon as possible. We too, wish that Lana, Joey and Jay start to make a full and speedy recovery soon enough. As for Baby Ace, we hope the downtown does not affect the screen time too much. He makes the soap so much better! Moreover, with Nik back in the picture, the story surrounding Ace will take center stage soon!
