GH Spoilers: Carly’s Marriage Proposal Surprise – Drew Pops the Question After Walking Free?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will keep doing everything in her power to make sure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) survives his prison ordeal and scores his freedom. There may be some snags along the way, but Carly’s determined to reunite with Drew on the outside.
GH fans know Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has agreed to pitch in on a plot against Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue), so hopefully that’ll lead to a sentence change and result in Drew becoming a free man in the very near future.
Of course, we have to think about what Drew might do once he’s no longer an inmate.
Drew will naturally catch up with Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) and try to make up for lost time, so there’ll be plenty of father-daughter bonding.
However, Drew will certainly make time for Carly as well since their love life has suffered during this whole prison crisis.
The separation would’ve been tough on Carly and Drew anyway, but the fact that Drew landed in so much danger made things even worse.
Carly wasn’t sure Drew was going to make it out of this Pentonville nightmare alive – and more danger could be brewing if Warden Garten’s (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) hint to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was any indication.
Fortunately, Drew will get past all the chaos and ultimately walk free down the road.
Once that happens, Drew will no doubt express his gratitude to Carly for never giving up on him. There’ll inevitably be a very romantic evening as Drew and Carly reconnect.
Drew has had many nights to sit and think about his future with Carly behind bars.
Once Drew’s released, he might decide he knows what he wants and doesn’t want to waste another minute not chasing after it.
Perhaps that could lead to Drew popping the question and surprising Carly with an epic marriage proposal.
Carly could really get swept off her feet if Drew pulls out all the stops and shows her just how much she means to him.
Will Drew and Carly get engaged once he’s freed from the slammer? Carly and Drew will need a way to celebrate, so agreeing to tie the knot might be a good way to do that.
