GH Spoilers: Sonny And Nina Are Out — Ava Recycles Her Former Flame, Nina Loses Everything!
General Hospital spoilers reveal fans have long been wondering who will be the next lucky lady to catch the eye of the beloved Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He has always been on the lookout for a partner who can handle him at his best and worst, and he’s had a slew of exes to prove it — whom he often goes back to. While many believe that only Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) really belongs with Sonny, there is another woman who could be a great match for the mobster.
Enter Ava Jerome (Maura West). Although she hasn’t always made the best decisions in the past, she has been on quite the redemption arc recently. Not only that, but she also has a fiery personality that could match Sonny’s energy, making them an unforgettable duo. But when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) starts to suspect that Ava might be into her beau, she’ls going to have a hard time fighting for him when Ava has the leverage to see to it that she loses him no matter what.

The rumor mill keeps churning out theories that Sonny will end up back with his most recent ex-wife, but it doesn’t seem to fit the storyline. Carly has certainly been feeling the pressure lately. With Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) behind bars, juggling everything alone has been tough. Carly knows she can always rely on Sonny though, and he feels the same way about her. So it stood out to her when she barged into his office last week and found him with Ava, who apparently had no idea why he summoned his ex. Although it was clear Sonny was making moves without Ava’s knowledge, it also appeared something was going on between them without Carly’s. She’s not going to forget that.
GH Spoilers Hint Ava is a Bigger Threat
Nina is going to be stunned when she realizes it’s not Carly that Sonny is spending his time with, but Ava! She’ll have to talk herself out of her anxiety and reconcile her instincts with practical thought — Ava would never do that to her, right? It will appear that trouble is on the horizon for Nina as she continues to push her worries about Ava aside.
With Ava taking meetings with Sonny, Nina will get suspicious that Ava may have plans to reveal the truth about Nina’s tip to the SEC. Despite Sonny and Ava reassuring her that nothing is amiss, Nina’s paranoia just so she can keep the narrative on her own terms — something Ava has ironically warned her about all of this time.

When Nina feels convinced that Ava is just gaslighting her and intending to use her secret to steal Sonny away for herself, she’ll beat her to the punch by confessing her sins one by one. The jury is still out on whether Sonny will forgive her or show her any compassion for coming out with it on her own, but it’s not likely — especially since he will recognize the only reason she comes clean is because she was worried he would find out from Ava.
