GH Spoilers: Charlotte Kidnapped to Force Valentin’s Hand – Must Eliminate Anna to Save Daughter?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) recently delivered some intriguing updates to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Valentin mentioned that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) had gone back to boarding school and claimed it was her choice.
In reality, Anna suspects Valentin probably wanted Charlotte’s Switzerland return so that he could do more Pikeman business there.
It’s clear that Anna’s eyes are opening when it comes to Valentin’s deception and just how deeply involved he is in the organization.
Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) warned Valentin to keep Anna at a distance, but Valentin is trying to pull Anna closer again instead.
That could backfire if Anna learns too much damning information and puts Pikeman’s dealings at risk.
Anna already realizes Valentin lied about being in Geneva when he was actually meeting with Roman Hume (Mark Engelhardt) in Port Charles.
That was the same day Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was targeted at the Metro Court pool.
It’s only a matter of time until Anna gets confirmation that Valentin has been running the show while Brennan’s locked up.
At some point, Brennan might decide Anna must be eliminated – and he may force Valentin to carry out the hit.
If Valentin refuses, Brennan could arrange Charlotte’s kidnapping from her boarding school and use her as leverage.
It’s easy to see that Brennan’s still got some power and leeway to make things happen behind bars.
A phone call to the right Pikeman connections is all it would take to make sure Charlotte gets snatched.
Perhaps Brennan will argue that Anna is a crafty character who needs someone just as crafty to take her out.
Brennan may feel like Anna has a soft spot for Valentin that he can use to his advantage for a grim trap.
In other words, Brennan may insist Valentin is the only person who can rise to the challenge, wipe Anna off the map and make sure anything she’s learned gets buried.
If captive Charlotte is used to force Valentin’s hand, he may feel he has no choice but to carry out a fatal Anna plot.
Valentin could get backed into a terrible corner that leaves him forced to choose between his daughter and the woman he still loves.
Of course, Valentin would definitely pick Charlotte and has flat-out admitted that to Anna before.
The concept of protecting their children above all else is something that both Anna and Valentin can agree on.
That said, there’s no guarantee Valentin would stand a chance against Anna! This could lead to a situation where Anna is forced to turn the tables with lethal consequences.
