General Hospital Spoilers: Eden McCoy Talks ‘New Blood’ for Josslyn – Hints at Cast Additions and Fresh Pairings

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will stand her ground when it comes to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and the choice she’s made. Josslyn’s world was rocked when she realized what Dex was capable of, so she’s decided she’s done with him.

Of course, Josslyn’s decision came as a shock to many fans, but maybe it’s not so surprising considering the writing transition that’s underway.

The show is obviously trying to reset some characters, ditch a few romances and open the door to some other storylines.

In an interview with SOD, Eden McCoy talked about Josslyn’s breakup and what the future holds for her.

For any devastated Dex and Joss fans out there, McCoy had a “never say never” attitude and hinted anything could come back around on a soap.

That said, it does feel like this is a clear shift for Josslyn, which will pull her away from Dex and perhaps into someone else’s romantic orbit eventually.

As for who the lucky guy might be, Eden McCoy admitted there doesn’t seem to be another viable romantic option on canvas for Joss at the moment.

However, McCoy acknowledged that some big shifts are happening behind the scenes and seems hopeful about some fresh faces joining the show in her age group.

“Hopefully that will change and we’ll have some new blood in the young adult [set]. You know, there’s been a lot of changes at GH, a lot of pairing changes,” McCoy said.

Since everyone at the studio is in the dark on where things are headed next, McCoy suggested there’s plenty of excitement.

That goes for viewers as well since we’re all watching these developments play out in Port Charles.

McCoy’s prediction points to Josslyn staying single for a while, which is probably for the best since she needs time to heal her broken heart.

Once Josslyn is finally ready to move on, perhaps there’ll be a new hunk or two in the right age bracket for her.
