March 4th, 2024 was a highly anticipated date for ABC’s General Hospital and the show’s fans. Steve Burton’s return to the 60 year old daytime drama was announced on January 4th during a prime time special. As a result, many questions flooded social media.

Naturally, fans took to various platforms to ask the basics. When, how, who Jason will love, and how long he’ll stay, among other burning questions, filled the minds of GH and Steve Burton fans. First, we were told when, (March 4th), then GH news confirmed that Burton was able to return upon a lifted vaccine mandate. That’s when fans began to speculate about his storyline, such as when Jason will hall in love with. Having him back has increased ratings as Jason’s story is just beginning.

Moreover, aside from the storyline, GH fans inquired about Steve’s GH status. Did he sign a contact? If so, for how long? General Hospital spoilers, and rumors tease that Steve Burton puts contract, rumors to rest. Recently, Burton and co-star and friend Bradford Anderson, discussed Steve’s GH status in their podcast. First, Steve seemingly mocked recently rumors that claimed he signed a 3 month contact, and Jason Morgan would die. Thankfully, those GH rumors turned out to be fake news.

The news of Steve Burton returning home to General Hospital, took the soapverse and fandoms by storm. In fact, even days after his comeback the hype around it is not dying down. Now, his former leading lady has fanned the flames even further by dropping a certain remark. Could this be a hint at an old-flames revival? Let’s find out!

General Hospital: Could We See A Jason – Britt Reunion?

Ahead of his return to the ABC soap, Steve Burton posted a picture on Instagram, informing fans that he returns to PC in the March 5, 2024, episode. Sometime later, former General Hospital star – Kelly Thiebaud commented on the post saying, she will have to tune into GH to check this out!

Thus, affirming that she is very much interested in seeing Jason back on the soap! Long-term fans would remember that back in the day – her character Britt and Jason were a couple on General Hospital. In fact, a much fan-loved one. So we can’t help but wonder if there is any scope of a Britt-Jason reunion!

Back in 2023, Britt died in the most cemented way possible. In her mother’s arms right on-screen for every General Hospital fan to witness. So, even when coming back from the grave is a regular feature on soaps, there are still some deaths that can’t be undone. And hers is just one of them.

But hey! there are still many other ways this reunion could happen! We do know that Jason is in a very tricky position on General Hospital. We don’t know the back story yet, but it seems he is going to be at odds with many characters for a while. Thus, there is a possibility that he may have a vision or a dream about Britt, where she gives him some much needed advice.

So, even if it just for for that one scene, it would still be incredible to see Jason and Britt together again on-screen! Also, if that mini chem-test lights up all the bulbs, there is always the option of Kelly slipping into an all new character! That is certainly nothing unheard of on General Hospital!
