General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Becomes Cyrus’ Enemy Number One – Why Coma Awakening Ruins Everything for Laura’s Brother
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has spent most of his life longing for a real family connection, but his nefarious plans have often gotten in the way. However, Cyrus has a genuine opportunity to connect with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as a free man who claims to have turned over a new leaf.
Laura has been suspicious of Cyrus’ motives and was hanging on every word during his first radio show – just to get a sense of what he was really up to.
That said, Cyrus scored some points with Laura by agreeing to help Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) with their latest Pentonville operation.
It could be a good first step when it comes to Laura and Cyrus starting to bond. Of course, it’ll take a long time for Laura to truly trust Cyrus – that is if it ever happens at all!
Even so, Laura may become more willing to hang out with Cyrus and let him visit Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
In a weird way, Laura may connect with her half-brother and finally give Cyrus the real sense of family that he’s been craving for so many years.
That’s when Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) could wake up and ruin everything – at least as far as Cyrus is concerned.
GH fans can’t forget Cyrus was responsible for the explosion that caused Lulu to fall into that coma and miss all this time with her loved ones.
Can you imagine Lulu’s horror if she awakens and finds out Laura has accepted Cyrus in her life on any level?
Lulu may become Cyrus’ enemy number one by causing such a fuss about Laura’s willingness to give Cyrus another chance.
It could cause Laura to reverse course out of respect for her daughter and the desire to help Lulu as she rejoins society.
There’s been an uptick when it comes to Lulu mentions in recent months, so that’s left many viewers hopeful about her returning sooner rather than later.
Regardless, Lulu has to wake up eventually and get updates on all the shocking news she’s missed.
Once that happens, it could change everything for Cyrus – and not in a good way!
