General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may do a lot of contemplating in the coming episodes. It’s clear that Dex is crazy about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), so it’s reasonable to assume marriage could be on the horizon for them at some point.
However, GH writers might move up the timeline depending on how Dex responds to some big developments happening on canvas.
For starters, Dex may find himself wanting to seize the day and grab happiness with Josslyn while he still can.
If Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) storyline proves anything, it’s that things can change in an instant.
Spencer spent the first part of that fateful evening wining and dining Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as they looked forward to life in Paris.
By the end of the night, drugged Spencer fell into the Seine and was later presumed deceased.
We know Spencer will be back, but we have to look at this from Dex’s perspective.
Dex is going to be thinking about how quickly Trina and Spencer’s happily ever after fell apart.
Part of Dex may start worrying about his dangerous job working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the threat that’s escalating.
It could leave Dex worried that he’ll be ripped away from Josslyn at some point, too.
Dex will do everything he can to stick around for Josslyn, but he also can’t predict the future.
It’s easy to imagine Dex wanting to marry Josslyn while he still can – just so he can make that commitment and celebrate their love for as long as possible.
Josslyn has also gone through a pretty traumatic ordeal with Adam Wright (Joshua Benard), who tried to end his own life.
If Josslyn hadn’t found Adam and saved him when she did, Adam probably would’ve succeeded.
Between the situation with Adam and now Spencer’s tragedy, Josslyn may also embrace the idea that life is fragile.
It could lead to Josslyn getting on board with a fast engagement and marriage if Dex pops the question.
