GH Spoilers: Week of February 5 – Mystery Unravels, Trina’s Heartbreak, Drew’s Obsession and Cupid’s Helpers
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 5-9 reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will mull over some potential new clues after a meeting with O’Neill (Jeff Leaf), an arms dealer who could point them in the direction of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) shooter.
Of course, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have to get updates eventually, so he may have a strategy session with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) based on what they learn.
After all the chaos in Puerto Rico, you can bet Sonny will be even more eager to eliminate the threat against him – especially since it’s putting Ava Jerome (Maura West) in danger, too.
However, Sonny may also take time to grieve a loss since it looks like Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) presumed demise will eventually lead to memorial service plans.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have a tough time coping, but there are some signs that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) may resurface with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to help her cope.
Naturally, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will be the one most affected by the loss of Spencer, but maybe she’ll still feel connected to him deep down.
Although Trina’s loved ones may think she’s in denial, perhaps she’ll find it difficult to shake the feeling that Spencer is alive and coming back to her somehow.
Even so, Trina will face some heartbreak over Spencer’s fate until the truth can be revealed.
Spencer will indeed return down the line once Nicholas Alexander Chavez wraps filming on his new Netflix gig.
In the meantime, there’ll be plenty of other storylines to focus on in Port Charles. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may find it increasingly difficult to juggle motherhood, running Kelly’s and learning the ropes of a fashion magazine.
Although there’ll be some triumphs at Crimson, there could be some failures along the way, too. Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) would certainly love to see Carly crash and burn eventually!
Nevertheless, Nina will also have to make some choices about what she wants most out of life. Part of Nina will want to keep the revenge cycle going, but she can’t do that and stand a real chance of repairing the damage with Sonny or Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina turned down Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) rival magazine offer to preserve her relationship with Willow, but will she be able to stay on this positive path and avoid more Carly clashing?
As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), GH spoilers say his vengeful cravings will continue – and that could make waves in his relationship with Carly.
At some point, Carly will think they have to focus on their own future, but Drew may not think Nina’s suffered enough.
This could become an obsession for Drew and lead to problems as his behavior spirals out of control.
On a happier note, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will strengthen their bond as they play Cupid for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) ahead of the Valentine’s Day festivities.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will continue planning their upcoming wedding as well, but can they do it in time to make sure Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) fully enjoys it?
General Hospital spoilers say Gregory’s fast decline will remain a concern, so stick with us for news on how that’ll affect the nuptials moving forward.
