General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kim Delaney (ex-Jackie Templeton) is dealing with some legal drama due to some serious accusations. According to the legal documents that TMZ got their hands on, someone named Dzhamal Badalov filed legal documents that claim Delaney ran into his motorcycle while he was waiting at a redlight in November 2022.
Delaney was also accused of driving erratically in the moments before the crash and tumbling the victim out onto the road.
Badalov insisted that Delaney tried to flee the scene before bystanders got involved – and then Delaney allegedly called someone on her phone while seemingly intoxicated.
The legal docs also claim that the person on the phone with Delaney tried to bribe Badalov into not notifying the police, but Badalov said that he rejected the offer.
After that, Delaney allegedly took off and turned this into a hit-and-run accident after following her phone partner’s orders.
Now all this legal drama is blowing up since Badalov is suing Delaney for damages.
TMZ investigated the whole ordeal a bit further and discovered that there was indeed a criminal case opened against Delaney in Los Angeles, which indicates that she’s facing hit-and-run charges.
The police report basically lines up with everything that was spelled out in the lawsuit according to their sources, but Delaney hasn’t responded to the allegations ahead of her court date during the week of January 29-February 2.
Of course, the charges and lawsuit are serious, so it seems likely this will prevent Kim Delaney from reprising her role as Jackie Templeton in the months ahead for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding.
Will the show recast Jackie or perhaps just claim that Chase’s mom is off working on some big story? Either way, it doesn’t sound like Kim Delaney will be returning to GH anytime soon!
The show must go on, so Chase and Brook Lynn will just have to move forward with their wedding regardless of how things play out behind the scenes.
