Because the Carly we have known and loved all these years would just rip Nina’s throat for disrupting her life the way she did with the SEC leak.
Honestly, right now, Carly’s stance makes sense, considering the nature of her loss. General Hospital spoilers rewind us to back in the day when Carly first arrived in Port Charles. She actually came looking to seek revenge on Bobbie. But look where they are now. She is mourning her now beloved and cherished mother. Their journey to finding love and warmth for each other has been incredible. So yeah, it makes sense that Carly does not want to think of revenge at the moment.
Moreover, as much as she’d like to paint Nina as the villain here, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly surely was guilty of skimming. So, Nina did actually report a real crime. That being said, Carly and everyone around her won’t stop seeing Nina as the bad apple here. But right now, Carly’s stance of wanting to let Nina’s acts slide won’t go too well with Drew. He wants revenge. And his behavioral issues post his prison stint will only make things worse.

If that happens, Carly won’t even have to actively seek revenge from Nina. What would be worse for her than to lose her husband to her nemesis, right?
