GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) Comes Down HARD On Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs)

If you mess with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and take advantage of the people he loves, it will all be over for you. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has found out that you don’t mess with Sonny. It’s not a good choice.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: In Deep Debt
Gladys has a gambling problem. She has lost a lot of money at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker tables. She lost more than she was able to get back, and Selina started threatening her.
Gladys realized that the only way she could hope to pay her debt was to skim money out of Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) accounts. Gladys has been in the role of Sasha’s guardian since Sasha had her mental breakdown. She knew she’d have to keep Sasha under her control to be able to pay her bills.
When Sasha starts to feel better and decides she should oversee her own affairs, Gladys panics. Sasha must be evaluated by a psychiatrist according to the guidelines of the court. The psychiatrist that Sasha sees is none other than Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), one of Sasha’s gambling partners.
Gladys gets to Montague to help her keep Sasha “unstable” but it goes too far. He drugs her so much that she starts hallucinating and ends up stabbing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), thinking he is someone else. This lands her in Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Word Gets Out
Cody Bell believes that something is up with Sasha. He tries to draw attention to Gladys, but no one believes him. They side with Gladys. Finally, Cody gets himself committed to Ferncliff with the help of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
He breaks Sasha out and helps her detox. When Sasha tries to get Gladys to side with her and testify against Montague, Gladys calls the police on her. Sasha is sent back to Ferncliff and Montague almost kills her. But Cody again saves the day.
Sonny knows now what evil Gladys has done. He tells her that she can’t lie anymore and has to tell him the truth without whining. Then, he sends her away to where she used to live with only the clothes on her back. He says that if she contacts anyone he knows, if she gambles, or if she crosses him at all, her life will be over.
