Why Isn’t A New Episode Of Sister Wives On Tonight?
Sister Wives was quite interesting for Season 18 as fans got to watch Christine Brown be her authentic self. She filmed for the first time in her Utah home. More so, she showed how grateful she was to be away from her ex-husband, Kody Brown. Additionally, Janelle Brown asserted her power and would not let him gaslight her as he alleged she was gaslighting him. She told him to F right off as he stormed out of her apartment. He then took it out on their youngest daughter, Savanah, and did not even see her for Christmas.
The holidays were a hot mess for the Brown family and it just went awry with a text gift exchange. Finally, Janelle realized she was over him and their marriage which made Christine so happy. She wanted Janelle to leave so badly but it was hard for Kody’s second wife. Janelle had nothing to take with her, unlike Christine who had the money from her home. Eventually, Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown decided to move her life mostly to Utah where she felt she was better received. That meant she was officially done with her marriage to Kody, as well.
Luckily for Sister Wives fans who were unhappy with the four-part tell-all, TLC gave them four specials. Then there was Christine and David Woolley’s two-part wedding which had viewers sobbing. It seemed like there should be more with all of the specials but alas the show is no longer airing. That is because the season is officially over. So, what is taking its place? The new TLC series Love & Translation, where American men head overseas to see if they can find love but there is a catch.
When Will Sister Wives Return?
So, Love & Translation will replace Sister Wives and it may be somewhat of a competitive series. These men do not speak the same language as these women. Yet, they will try their hardest to find love despite this struggle. As for when the Brown family will return for Season 19, there is usually an eight-month gap between the season ending and new ones beginning. Therefore, the summer of 2024 is when new episodes may drop.
