GH Spoilers: Will Lucky Spencer Return for Liz Romance, Lulu’s Awakening and More – GH Needs Recast?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was missing from Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) funeral, so his absence in Port Charles continues to be glaring. It makes no sense for Lucky to never come home to visit Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Aiden Webber (Enzo de Angelis) or anyone else he’s connected to.

We get that there may be an actor availability issue, but maybe that just means it’s time to recast the role of Lucky Spencer. Jonathan Jackson is great in the part, but someone else could take over for his next stint in PC.

Laura recently mentioned Lucky’s name as she reflected on all the losses in the Spencer family.

There was some talk about all the problems Lucky’s been plagued with – presumably because he’d been off soul-searching and sulking for so long!

It’s clear that Laura could use some extra support considering all the drama she’s had to deal with lately.

That’s especially true now that Laura’s grieving the loss of Bobbie on top of everything else.

With Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) comatose and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) constantly causing trouble, Laura needs another child on canvas. Could Lucky finally make a comeback?

The timing would be perfect if the show’s planning to wake Lulu up sooner rather than later.

It’d be good to have Lucky around for his sister’s awakening when the time is right.

Plus, Lucky’s return would give Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) another romantic possibility.

Plenty of fans just aren’t feeling the vibe of Liz and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) relationship.

It’d be interesting to see Liz rekindle her old spark with Lucky if he comes back to town.

Lucky’s comeback could either pave the way for a Finn and Elizabeth breakup or provide another option after they split instead.

It’s worth mentioning that in the coming months, GH spoilers say Liz will be taken aback by a surprise visitor on her doorstep. Someone from Liz’s past will need her assistance, so who’s it going to be?

Nikolas or even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are logical contenders, but maybe we shouldn’t rule out Lucky either.

It’d be exciting to have Lucky back in some form, so we’ll bring you updates on any return news that might be looming.
