Sister Wives star Christine Brown’s pals are ‘concerned’ about marriage to David

"Most of her inner circle is having a hard time believing that it's true love."

SISTER Wives star Christine Brown’s friends are concerned about her marriage to David Woolley, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

Christine’s fairytale wedding to David in Moab, Utah, aired on TLC in a TV special on January 7.

While there were 330 guests that attended, a few Sister Wives were left out, including Meri, Robyn and Kody Brown since they were not invited, according to the bride.

One of Christine’s daughters, Gwendlyn, also skipped the wedding, but she did not reveal why she did not make an appearance.

The mom of six mentioned during the special that she started dating David, 60, just 10 months prior to their October 7 nuptials.

Apart from daughters Ysabel and Aspyn having concerns over her new relationship, there are other family members and even friends of Christine’s who are concerned.

“A lot of people in Christine’s inner circle are concerned about her quick marriage to David,” a source told The U.S. Sun.

“They just aren’t going around voicing it to everyone because they don’t want to take away from Christine’s happiness and having her moment ruined.

“But, they feel like she rushed into this marriage.”

The source went on to say that the Plexus ambassador changed and is “not the same person” after romancing David.

“She’s totally different with him,” the source insisted.

“She’s showing off her tattoos, she’s doing things she’s never done before and she’s showing her wild side that people have never seen before.

“It doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing, it’s just friends are concerned that she might be forgetting her roots and how she was raised.”

TRULY IN LOVE?
One big reason why friends and family are so concerned over her marriage to the Utah construction exec is because they’re “not completely sure she’s actually in love with him.”

A source told The U.S. Sun, “Most of her inner circle is having a hard time believing that it’s true love and she fell in love so fast.”

Aspyn, 28, and Ysabel, 20, for their part, “have their guard up,” a source said, especially after they revealed on the wedding special that they weren’t sure if they should refer to David as a step-dad.

The source speculated, “The reason why the girls are not into him is because they refuse to get attached.

“They have some doubts and believe it’s not going to last.”

Christine, 51, and Kody, 54, announced their split in November 2021 after 25 years of marriage.

She went public with her relationship with David in February 2023 and got engaged in April.

The source added, “Her moving on so quickly with David is all because she was seeking attention and he gave it to her.”

JANELLE SPEAKS OUT
Christine’s bestie Janelle Brown, who also split from Kody, was the only sister wife who attended the reality star’s nuptials.

She recently revealed that she, herself, believed her pal was moving too fast.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she shared, “When you first told us you’d met this guy, I was like, ‘Oh no, that’s too fast,'” speaking to Christine.

“I was like, ‘No, no, this is not a good idea. This is too fast. This is too fast.'”

After meeting David, Janelle thought, “He’s really cool,” and then realized what they had was “awesome.”

She added, “I third wheel with them a lot and I really enjoy it. He’s funny and he thinks like [Christine] and he thinks like me. And the kids adore him. All the kids think he’s amazing.”

SPINOFF STILL ON?
Janelle might be sticking by her bestie’s side for the time being since her plans to build her home on Coyote Pass have stalled and she’s not seeking a new relationship.

She confessed to cameras, “The natural question everyone seems to be asking now is, ‘When is it your turn?’

“I have a big adventure planned with my life and it does not involve getting married again or even having a man around, really.”

While Janelle and Christine remain close, a source told The U.S. Sun that they “aren’t as focused” on a spinoff at the moment, despite Janelle having money problems.

“Janelle could return to Christine’s cooking show, but that’s the extent of discussions right now,” the source said.

“The focus is the next season of Sister Wives and everyone’s life after separating from Kody and becoming estranged from Robyn.”

Season 19 of the show has yet to officially be announced.

Meanwhile, the family drama continues when part two of Christine and David’s wedding special airs on January 14 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
