This is going to be a heavy and heartbreaking week on General Hospital. So fans better keep those tissues handy! As TV Season & Spoilers reported earlier, Bobbie’s memorial will take place on the January 10-11, 2024 episode of the ABC soap. When actress Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie) passed away in May 2023, GH decided to put her character to rest too, respectfully. The legacy has been so moving that recasting the role didn’t feel right to anyone.
Thus, the upcoming General Hospital memorial serves a two-fold role in bidding farewell to Bobbie, as well as, Jacklyn. But these two episodes won’t be the end of Bobbie’s story just yet! There is more to come and in exciting ways! We already know that a stranger arrives at the memorial service and leads Carly and Felecia to take care of Bobbie’s unfinished business. But the latest spoilers reveal that we are about to see not one but two new faces in this overseas adventure!
Two New Characters Join Carly And Felecia On General Hospital
As per Soap Opera Digest, two new characters are being introduced on General Hospital – Cornelia and Famke. English-American actress Ellie Darcey-Alden will be seen portraying Cornelia. She will assist Carly and Felecia in their adventure through Amsterdam as they try to finish what Bobbie started. As it turns out, Bobbie was settling some unfinished matters for her deceased brother – Luke Spencer. So it looks like Carly and Felecia will be putting matters to rest for both Spencer’s siblings.
One fun fact: when you see Cornelia on General Hospital and have a pressing feeling of having seen her before, you might not be wrong. Elle popularly played the character of young Lily Potter on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2. But that is not her only claim to fame. She also appeared in one episode of Doctor Who as Francesca.
The second character that will join Carly and Felecia in Amsterdam will be Famke. This character will be portrayed by actress Elise Robinson on General Hospital. So, it appears that this upcoming overseas mystery is about to get a lot more fascinating!
